Between rainy days and feeling a little under the weather I have been taking the time to play. I am doing a session with my ladies next week of ‘Road Trip’. As usual I like to make a visual table so I thought I would make a road with scenery on the side so I started carving from a nice green piece of card and this is what I have come up with so far. I just use a normal craft knife;there are many types and I find I am as particular about craft knives as I am about pens and pencils; they have to feel right in the hand and heart. Once I started I couldn’t stop, it become like meditation although I do have to concentrate not to slip…ouch.
