    • Thanks for the comment. I had such fun doing this book. it began when I went to Disneyland and went round and round in the ‘cups’, all manner of things sprang from that experience…have loved all types of cups ever since.

    • Thanks for your comment WendyB. I have just gone into my blog after two months overseas. I am sure you can make your own handmade book. I think a handmade book about your Mother would be lovely. Maybe you have some small things of hers that would make a lovely collage along with some of her favourite saying etc. You can either gather your own papers and bind them together in a way that relates to your Mom or just simply tie them with a ribbon of our Mom’s colour. Just a thought. I did love the story of your Mom and the journey. Whilst it is sad, it is such a rich human story.

  1. I am so happy to find your blog…thanks for visiting me and leaving bread crumbs. I, too, love hand made books, mandalas, collages, nature prints, etc. I am looking forward to exploring your blog more. Hugs, pat

  2. As I said before, handmadebooks are very new subject for me. How exciting and enjoyable…And also should be great fun. I loved your all works dear Rose, you brought me a new creative world to my humble life. I can see how you put your beautiful heart on these lovely papers… Fascinated me. Thank you, how I love to be in here, in your creative world. Blessing and Happiness, with my love, nia

    • Oh my golly, thank you so much. I didn’t have much time to roam around your house but what I saw I definitely liked. Will have a good look tonight.
